Amapá Expo Fair generated R$1,1 billion in business in 2025

Agriculture stood out with R$248,7 million; the event received 2,6 million visitors

The 54th Amapá Expo Fair concluded on the 07th, and its results were released this Thursday. The event, held in Macapá, generated R$1,1 billion in business, attracted approximately 2,6 million visitors, and registered, during its duration, an impressive 100 formal jobs in the state.

"Brazil's greatest showcase for ethical business, which drives the development of Amapá, generated R$1,1 billion. We're starting to stand on our own two feet, and we'll do whatever it takes to attract new companies, maintain existing ones, encourage local entrepreneurship, and create jobs. This has been and always will be the role of Expofeira," emphasized Amapá Governor Clécio Luís.

Expofeira mobilized resources across various sectors of the economy, boosting everything from large investments to initiatives focused on small entrepreneurs. These include:

  • R$ 139 million – Credit and financing operations with Banco da Amazônia (Basa)
  • R$582 million – Negotiation with the Tucano Mine, consolidating mining as one of the drivers of the economy.
  • R$ 15 million – Reurb projects, ensuring advances in land regularization.
  • R$ 12,6 million – Gastronomy sector, driven by the fair’s culinary diversity.
  • R$ 6 million – Sales from vehicle dealerships.
  • R$ 24 million – Business in the real estate sector.
  • R$7,2 million – sales from popular entrepreneurs.
  • R$ 609 thousand – Amapá Seal Companies, focused on promoting local production.
  • R$ 575 thousand – My First Company Program, encouraging new businesses.
  • R$ 5 million – Sales in the beverage and entertainment sector.
  • R$ 1,5 million – Amusement park installed in the fair space.
  • R$ 540 thousand – Operation of the Exhibition Park parking lot.

Agribusiness

Agribusiness was highlighted at the fair, with investments that strengthen rural production and modernize the countryside.

  • R$ 139,5 million – Harvest Plan, aimed at financing agricultural production.
  • R$95 million – Acquisition of agricultural machinery and implements from Codevasf.
  • R$ 12 million – Amapá AgroSummit, focusing on innovation and technology in the field.
  • R$ 2 million – Auctions and direct sale of animals and products.
  • R$ 124 thousand – Business from Rurap exhibitors.
  • R$ 127 thousand – Producer’s Showcase, a space dedicated to small farmers.

The event also stood out as a space for strengthening trade relations, bringing together more than 100 businesspeople from Brazil and around the world, including the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce. A delegation from French Guiana, comprised of the Technical Management Center (CTG), the Chamber of Commerce, and the Tourism Committee, also participated in the events.

In addition, strategic institutions were present, such as the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Petrobras Transport (Transpetro), the Brazilian Association of Petroleum Services Companies (Abespetro), as well as Petrobras itself, which participated for the first time with a stand exclusively for the oil and gas sector.
