Daniel D’Andrea has just taken on the role of marketing and development director at the Albaugh company for the Brazilian and Paraguayan markets. One of the global leaders in the agricultural pesticides sector, Albaugh produces and sells a wide range of solutions aimed at the main crops in both countries.

An agronomist from Unesp, with specializations and an MBA in marketing and administration, D’Andrea has more than 25 years of experience in the crop protection market. He held relevant positions in Brazil and abroad, mainly in France and Spain, in companies such as the German Bayer.

At Albaugh, Daniel D’Andrea will continue the strategic planning of the marketing and development areas. Among his main challenges will be expanding the brand's robust portfolio of agrochemicals and maintaining the company's significant growth, recorded in recent years, in Brazilian and Paraguayan agriculture. The executive will report directly to the president and CEO of Albaugh Brasil, Cesar Rojas, will be a member of the Albaugh Brasil Board of Directors and a member of the GMG (Global Management Group), reporting on a matrix basis to the global CMO, Jens Thorsen.

Albaugh has been present in Brazil for six years, with its own factory in the city of Resende-RJ, headquarters in São Paulo-SP and 10 sales regions distributed throughout Brazil. The company produces and sells a broad portfolio of agrochemicals suitable for the main agricultural crops, such as soybeans, corn, cotton, citrus, coffee, sugar cane, wheat and beans, among others.
