Farmers across the country have a new tool to guide their decisions in the field, the study Agribusiness Perspectives. Developed by Banco do Brasil's team of experts, the survey includes macroeconomic analyzes and information focused on the country's main crops, such as soybeans, corn, coffee, cotton, among others. The study also provides climate forecasts for all regions – from August to December –, the result of a partnership with Agroclima PRO, Climatempo's agrometeorology 4.0 platform.

“El Niño, which acted in the country until a few weeks ago, directly influenced the climate. The second semester should be marked by delays and irregular rainfall, which greatly hinders the development of the field. By receiving this information in advance, the producer has time to prepare and draw up more assertive strategies to increase productivity and profitability”, says João Castro, agrometeorologist at Agroclima PRO.

This is the first edition of the study Agribusiness Perspectives, which aims to reinforce Banco do Brasil’s partnership with producers. “We have a historic partnership with the countryside. We have more than 240 specialized technicians spread across the country and a unique wealth of data. Analyzing this scenario, we understood that it was important to deliver to farmers a robust product that could help them guide the main harvest decisions”, explains Marco Túlio Moraes da Costa, Director of Agribusiness at Banco do Brasil.

Available for free download at the link https://www.bb.com.br/pbb/pagina-inicial/agronegocios#/, the material reinforces the partnership signed between Climatempo and Banco do Brasil at Agrishow, in May this year. During the fair, the institutions signed an agreement for the meteorology company to provide data to help decision-making for users of Agrobot, BB's virtual consulting platform, which combines the bank's expertise with external sources to offer insights relevant business information in a contextualized, easy and convenient way.

The application aims to maximize the producer's results. Through a questionnaire about your activity, it helps you create a financial plan (costs and revenue) to monitor climatic and market factors that may affect planning.
