Agrocete invests R$ 25 million in expanding its industrial park

Brazil is the country that most applies biological inputs to its plantations, according to data from the National Association of Inoculant Producers and Importers (ANPII), being a market that shows growth above 15% per year - only in 2023, this market should grow 17,3% in Brazil. To deal with this demand, Agrocete, a Brazilian multinational international reference in the area of ​​adjuvants, physiological, biological and nutrition, will expand its manufacturing park located in Ponta Grossa (PR), with an investment of R$ 25 million. With this, the factory will gain a new unit dedicated exclusively to the production of biological inputs, doubling Agrocete's production capacity.

“The expansion of the manufacturing unit is necessary to increase our production of biological inputs. We are following a movement in the agribusiness specialty market and investing in sustainable technology to develop new solutions for producers. Brazil is the country that most applies this type of technology to crops, whether as biological pest control, biological inoculants or biofertilizers. And more than being major consumers of this technology, Brazilian companies have been a global reference in the production of these bio-inputs”, he explains. In addition to expanding its manufacturing park, Agrocete is also expected to launch new products in the national and international markets. Investments in automation and robotics will be essential for the company to sustain its growth and launch new products in the agricultural market. In 2023, the Brazilian multinational launched the first biological product with three functions for soybean cultivation. 

Next year, there will be the launch of new biological products, as well as a program with launches already scheduled until 2027. The manufacturing unit should also be opened by the end of 2024.
