The Brazilian Agribusiness Association (Abag) and B3 will hold the 11th Brazilian Agribusiness Congress on August 24. The meeting will take place at the Sheraton WTC São Paulo Hotel, in a hybrid format. This year's edition will discuss how agro-alliances contribute to the sustainable growth of the sector and help maintain competitiveness in the face of global and national challenges.

With a program focused on strategic themes, the Congress brings together authorities, businesspeople, experts and industry leaders. The opening will feature the lecture “Agro-alliances and the Future”, given by Ambassador Roberto Azevêdo, former Director-General of the WTO and consultant for ABAG.

The event will then feature two panels: “Food, Energy and Innovation” and “Agrobrasil with Sustainable Growth: Financing and Capital Markets”. There will also be a roundtable on “Energy Transition”.

During the Congress, Abag presents the Ney Bittencourt de Araújo Award to Ambassador Alexandre Parola, recognized as an Agribusiness Personality. Former Minister Izabella Teixeira receives the Norman Borlaug Award, focused on sustainability.

Considered one of the main forums in the sector, the event received more than 800 participants in 2024. The online broadcast reached around 4 thousand people in Brazil and abroad.
