Agricultural machinery sales fall 9% in the year to September

Sales of tractors and agricultural machinery, at retail, from January to August, totaled 28.128 units, a drop of 9% compared to the accumulated result for the eight months of 2018. September sales were 15,4% below the volume of September last year , totaling 4.297 units. Compared to August, this volume was 15,5% higher.

Vehicle sales increased by 11,4%, from January to September 2019, compared to the same period last year. Considering cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, motorcycles, road equipment and others, 2.952.485 vehicles were registered in the period. The data was released by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave).
