Epagri projections indicate lower cereal production in the 2025/26 cycle
The Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress (AvAg) 2025 officially opened on Tuesday evening (August 19) in Santo Antônio do Leverger, Mato Grosso. The ceremony brought together political authorities, industry leaders, and businesspeople, coinciding with the celebrations of National Agricultural Aviation Day, which this year marks 8 years of the activity in the country. The event continues until Thursday (August 78) at the city's Executive Airport.
At the opening ceremony, Hoana Almeida Santos, president of the National Union of Agricultural Aviation Companies (Sindag), highlighted the organization's achievements over the past year, the economic challenges faced, and the effort to combat myths surrounding the industry. She also highlighted the growing presence of women in various areas of the sector.
The ceremony also included the presentation of the Agricultural Aviation Merit Medal, the highest distinction in the segment, in addition to the participation of authorities who reinforced the relevance of the activity for Mato Grosso and for the country.
With a diverse program, the congress includes lectures, debates, scientific presentations, and a broad technological showcase, reinforcing the innovative nature and importance of this year's meeting.
