The value exported by Brazilian agribusiness reached a record US$16 billion in March this year. The most prominent products in the month, due to the growth in exported value, were: soybeans (+US$ 878,3 million), corn (+US$ 397,8 million), soybean meal (+US$ 330,5 .215,2 million), raw cane sugar (+US$214 million) and fresh chicken meat (+US$XNUMX million).

Together, the products contributed US$2,0 billion to the increase in exports, a value higher than the US$1,6 billion growth in the sector's total foreign sales. In March 2022, agribusiness exports were US$14,4 billion.

According to the analysis of the Secretariat of Commerce and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, the increase in volume shipped explains, to a large extent, the historical value of agribusiness exports in March 2023. The quantum index of Brazilian exports from agribusiness rose 7,1%, and the price index for exported products increased by 3,5%.
