It wasn't in a carriage, limousine or pick up as is often the case. After the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds Rachel Correa Carvalho and Valmiro de Souza Neto, aka Netinho, left Paróquia Santo Antônio, in Curvelo, Minas Gerais, for the party, inside an LS Tractor H145 tractor. The groom, all emotional, was all smiles with the means of transport.
The story begins in 2011 when Raquel goes to work in the small mining town of Monjolo. According to her statement, she dedicated herself only to work, little went out at night. But on one of these outings, she let Valmiro, better known as Netinho, get closer and they started talking. And the desire to talk more grew until it became a relationship. “And it was like that, I spent the week with him in Monjolo and then we went to Belo Horizonte, walking, dancing, having fun.
Netinho works on his farm and also provides services on third-party farms. He has a company with tractors and implements for this task. In 2018 he purchased a tractor from LS Tractor and according to Raquel, after her what he loves most is the tractor. This year they scheduled the wedding for the following year, July 2019. And when the planning began, Raquel decided to surprise the groom.
He wrote a letter to André Rorato, commercial director of LS Tractor, telling his story and his desire to leave the church in a LS Tractor tractor. Two days after the letter was sent, the director called her and said that her dream would come true. “I couldn’t contain myself with so much joy. And to this day I thank André, the people at Triama, in the person of Francisco, who did everything to make it work and made this day unforgettable”, highlights Raquel.
She says that she only revealed the secret a couple of days before the wedding, because as she doesn't know how to operate a tractor, Netinho would have to do this part. “There, he already had a big smile, but he became even more emotional when we left the church and there was that huge, brand-new tractor at the door. I was speechless, it will remain in our memory forever”, concludes Raquel.
