Organomineral requires fine-tuning in application.
Higher prices and record volumes of fertilizers are driving the search for operational efficiency on the farm.
The Brazilian Association of Plant Nutrition Technology Industries is holding the Intelligent Plant Nutrition Summit on June 9th and 10th, 2026, in Piracicaba. The event will bring together national and international experts to discuss advances in plant physiology and plant nutrition.
According to the president of the Abisolo board of directors, Roberto Levrero, the Summit aims to increase the nutritional efficiency of crops and accelerate the adoption of technologies that strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of agriculture.
The scientific program includes discussions on nutrient absorption and transport mechanisms. It will also address interactions between mineral nutrition, organic compounds, and soil microbiology. Experts will discuss strategies to increase the nutritional efficiency and physiological plasticity of plants in the face of different environmental conditions.
Among the confirmed speakers, Victoria Fernandez, from the University of Madrid, will present advances on foliar nutrient absorption and application techniques. Carlos Alexandre Crusciol, from the São Paulo State University, Botucatu campus, will discuss the influence of organic matter on nutrient dynamics in the soil.
Christiane Abreu de Oliveira Paiva, from Embrapa Maize and Sorghum, will speak about phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms and plant growth promoters. Brener Magnabosco Marra, from the Federal University of São João del-Rei, will discuss the use of organic fertilizers to enhance soil chemical substances. Átila Francisco Mógor, from the Federal University of Paraná, will address mechanisms of physiological adaptation in plants and the use of special and organic fertilizers in response to environmental stresses.
