Considered today the main reference on the Brazilian market for the distribution of agricultural inputs, the 11th National Distribution Survey by Andav will be presented on August 13th at 14:15 PM during the 15th Andav Congress, held between August 11th and 13th at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo.

The research is developed in partnership with the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics - Cepea/Esalq-USP and brings together the main indicators on economic performance, credit, investments, inventories, infrastructure and trends in the sector, offering a comprehensive view of the evolution of a segment considered strategic for the competitiveness of Brazilian agribusiness. The survey gathers information from small, medium and large associated companies, producing a comprehensive picture of the sector's reality in all regions of the country.

Among the indicators evaluated are revenue, financial performance, credit options, inventory, investments, infrastructure, employee profile, female participation, expansion plans, customer satisfaction levels, and market trends.

In the edition published last year, the research showed that, even in an environment marked by credit restrictions and judicial reorganizations in parts of the sector, companies associated with Andav registered a 10,6% growth in revenue, reaching R$ 167 billion in turnover in 2024. The input segment accounted for R$ 104 billion, grain trading for R$ 36 billion, and machinery, services, and other services for R$ 27 billion. The study also revealed the advancement of distribution infrastructure and the increased prospects for company expansion.

For Roberta Alves, Customer Service and Education Manager at Andav, the strength of the Andav Survey is directly linked to the participation of its members and the representativeness of the survey. "The participation of Andav members in the survey reflects our immense reach and diversity. By bringing together the vision and data from small, medium, and large companies, we reveal the true dimension of the Agricultural Input Distribution sector. We are the link that connects the input industry to the rural producer, ensuring the continuous advancement of the entire agribusiness."

National research guides decisions.

The National Distribution Survey goes beyond generating statistics and, in the last decade, has become an important instrument for institutionally strengthening the distribution of inputs. The data allows us to understand the evolution of the sector, guide business decisions, support dialogue with authorities, and reinforce the importance of distribution as an essential link between industry and rural producers.

The 11th National Distribution Survey is being conducted by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea/Esalq-USP), a leading institution in agribusiness data analysis, responsible for collecting and processing the information. "This partnership guarantees the analytical credibility necessary to support the actions promoted by Andav in defending the sector, in addition to strengthening the representation of our members in dialogue with regulatory bodies, paving the way for new public policies," he adds.

For Mateus Elias, Market Intelligence Manager at Andav, research has become an essential tool to support strategic decisions in an increasingly dynamic market. "The Andav National Distribution Survey is a strategic tool for understanding the evolution of agricultural input distribution in Brazil. By consolidating market information, financial performance, inventory, and regional trends, the survey strengthens and generates reliable indicators for the entire segment. Currently, in a challenging scenario, the data helps distributors make more assertive decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and improve their strategic planning, strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of the sector," he explains.
