AGCO has appointed Ederson Soares (pictured) as Product Marketing Manager. He will be responsible for the marketing strategy of the Massey Ferguson brand in Brazil and Latin America, overseeing the harvesting product line, which includes grain harvesting machines and hay and forage equipment.
Responsibilities include developing and introducing new products, managing the product portfolio lifecycle, price positioning, market share analysis, and monitoring volumes and projections. Soares will also be responsible for supporting cost reduction strategies while maintaining the value propositions of the products, as well as conducting tactical and commercial alignments and defining product entry strategies.
Before taking on the management role, Soares worked for four years as Product Marketing Coordinator for Latin America at AGCO itself, also with a strategic focus on Massey Ferguson. Throughout his career, he accumulated experience in product management, market development, and engineering, with stints at companies such as Stihl and John Deere.
A mechanical engineer graduated from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Soares also holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
