AGCO announced changes in its executive leadership. Damon Audia assumed the presidency of PTx and the corporate strategy area. Indira Agarwal became senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Audia previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer. In his new role, he will lead the precision agriculture business, as well as the company's strategy and transformation teams. He also chairs the board of the PTx Trimble joint venture.
PTx brings together AGCO's precision agriculture solutions. The company considers the unit one of its main growth drivers and intends to expand value creation for producers through smart agriculture technologies.
Brian Sorbe, former president of PTx, left the company to pursue other personal and professional priorities.
Agarwal joined AGCO in 2024 as vice president and chief accounting officer. According to the company, she strengthened financial disclosure processes, internal controls, and initiatives focused on efficiency, structural profitability, and mergers and acquisitions.
The executive will also maintain leadership of the accounting area during the search for a successor. Agarwal has over 20 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, business integration, controls, and regulatory compliance.
Audia had held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2022. During that time, she led areas such as accounting, taxes, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning, investor relations, auditing, strategy, and communications.
