AGCO Corporation announced the appointment of Emiliano Ferrari as general manager of AGCO Argentina and commercial director of Fendt and Valtra for Latin America. The executive will lead the company's operations in Argentina and the commercial strategy of the two brands in the region. The company aims to strengthen business growth, increase proximity to producers, and develop a value proposition based on innovation, technology, and service.
Ferrari holds a degree in Business Administration from the National University of La Matanza. He has worked at AGCO for over two decades. Throughout his career, he has held positions in areas such as finance, planning, market intelligence, pricing, advertising, after-sales service, and sales. This experience has allowed him to build knowledge about the business, the dealer network, and the different production realities of Hispanic America.
In his new role, Ferrari will be responsible for leading AGCO Argentina's operations. The company considers the country one of the most important markets in the region. In Argentina, AGCO maintains an industrial and commercial presence. The structure includes a plant in General Rodríguez, where it manufactures equipment for different production segments, a logistics and parts distribution center in Haedo, and a dealer network covering the entire national territory.
The executive will also continue to lead the commercial strategy for Fendt and Valtra in Latin America. This role involves the growth of both brands, strengthening ties with the distribution network, and advancing the adoption of technologies aimed at transforming modern agriculture.
Ferrari stated that he feels proud to take on this new role within the company, where he began his career more than 20 years ago. According to him, his commitment involves leading Argentina's strategic agenda, aligning operations with business priorities, expanding collaboration between areas, and developing teams. The executive also cited the growth of people and customer satisfaction among his main priorities.
