The CNMA - National Congress of Agribusiness Women ended its 7th edition with extraordinary results. The event, which was held on October 26th and 27th, at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, welcomed more than 2500 congressmen who gathered to debate the theme “Coordination of production chains in agribusiness, the decisive decade!”, which guided the meeting schedule.
For two days, participants followed a series of actions that highlighted the contribution of women as accelerators of innovations that drive agribusiness in Brazil and around the world. There were eight round tables, which debated relevant topics; the Knowledge Arena, dedicated to sponsors and special guests, with experiences, talks shows and success stories; the 5th Bayer/ABAG Women of Agro Award and the launch of the documentary series “ Quando Ouvi a Voz da Terra”, a project developed by cattle rancher Carmen Perez.
The Director of the Transamerica Expo Center, Alexandre Marcilio, looked back on the event's successful trajectory, highlighting the record attendance, sponsors, support and strategic alliances. He also spoke about the message that CNNA carries in its theme, the integration between all agribusiness chains, from researchers to rural producers, highlighting the importance and role of the sector in the process of feeding the world.
“The CNMA represents a democratic space in which women can highlight their importance in agribusiness, promoting the exchange of experiences and integrating this network. We can say that the Congress has yielded good and important results. We have successfully pursued our mission of promoting an environment of debate among the protagonists of this sector, which is so important for our country. Proof of this was the record number of participants in this edition, many of them participants in groups of agricultural women, who were born or inspired by the CNMA”.
For the Development and New Business Manager of the Transamerica Expo Center, Renata Camargo, this edition showed how strong the union of women in Brazilian agribusiness is. “We were able to confirm this by following, throughout this year, the movements of female groups in the sector, spread across Brazil and also with our ambassadors. We strive to offer a quality event that adds knowledge through a program rich in content and exchange of experiences. We have reached the end of another edition with the certainty of the importance and fundamental role of the CNMA in positioning women as leaders in agribusiness”, she highlighted.
The 8th edition of the CNMA – National Agribusiness Congress has already been confirmed. The event will be held on October 25 and 26, 2023, at the Transamerica Expo Center, in the capital of São Paulo.
