More than 350 participants attended the 2nd edition of the Plantability Course 5.0, held by Delta Agro Paragominas, from November 3rd to 6th, in the municipalities of Paragominas and Dom Eliseu in Pará. During the three days of training, producers, students and professionals in the agricultural sector had the opportunity to learn more about the most efficient techniques and the best technologies for planting. Among the content were lectures given by Professor Paulo Arbex, Doctor in Plantability and by the Direct Planting Group (GPD), in addition to practical activities in the planters.
“We achieved our objective of bringing more and more knowledge, raising the flag that knowledge generates growth. We have no doubt that this will make a difference when planting the next harvest, 2021/22. It is certainly a pleasure for Delta Agro to hold this course, including in the coming years. We thank all the partners involved, the GPD group and Paulo Arbex”, highlights Adriano Quarella, director of Delta Agro Paragominas.
The importance of the course can be proven by producer Murilo Zancaner, from Paragominas, who believes this recycling before the harvest is essential. “Planting accounts for 80% of the success of the harvest. You made a mistake in this step, it will be complicated later. This chance for operators to learn more and retrain certainly gives a huge boost to the entire operation,” he says.
The farmer from the city of Thailand-PA, Diego Aparecido, from Agroexport, who attended both editions of the course, highlights the importance of the event. “For me it adds a lot of value, that's why I keep coming, both for management and operators too, because there's nothing better than them to learn and know what they're doing on a daily basis”, he points out. For him, it is necessary to know where it is possible to improve, correct mistakes and go to the field.
An opinion shared by Cesar Ricardo, from Agro Cangaia, a participant in the course also from Thailand, and who took his employees to also train. “Our region has little qualified labor, so opportunities like this are of great value for improving operators”, he concludes.
The following companies were partners in the course: Orion, J.Assy, Agrosystem, Fertisystem, Gehaka, Biotrop, MP Agro and Ruralbook.
