São Paulo institute database enriches software developed at Embrapa
Technical cooperation resulted in the enrichment of the Beng software, a database for calculating the energy balance of sugarcane crops
Presenting and discussing the concepts associated with Precision Agriculture is the proposal of the 27th Precision Agriculture Update Day, which will take place on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th of July, at the “Luiz de Queiroz” College of Agriculture (USP/ESALQ). The activities will be at the Department of Biosystems Engineering, from 8 am to 19:15 pm.
The event, which proposes to expose the techniques that allow crop management, considering spatial and temporal variability, will discuss topics involving satellite navigation systems, geographic information systems, crop productivity mapping, monitors and sensors, data analysis , mechanization of localized application of inputs, in addition to addressing other innovations in Precision Agriculture.
Carried out by ESALQ's Biosystems Department, the activity will be aimed at those who have training in agricultural sciences and professionals who work in the management of agricultural and forestry production systems.
