After a 15% increase in visitors and a 25% increase in sales at the Family Farming Pavilion, the 19th Expoagro Afubra, held from March 26 to 28, 2019, broke a new record, that of turnover. The Brazilian Tobacco Growers Association (Afubra), organizer of the fair, released this Monday, April 1st, the numbers: there were R$70.632.400,00 in business, that is, 16% more than the 2018 edition.
According to the general coordinator of Expoagro Afubra, Marco Antonio Dornelles, the entity is satisfied with the results achieved by this edition of the fair. “The numbers show that we are on the right path. For us, at Afubra, the most important thing is that the producer has access to information and technologies that help him manage his property and make it a success”, emphasizes Dornelles.
The next numbers that should be released are those from the research. “It is our practice to carry out research during the fair, among exhibitors, sponsors, entities and visitors. These numbers help us plan the next fair”, explains Marco. The 2020 edition of Expoagro Afubra will mark 20 years of the fair.
