The fertilizer operation has gained numerous benefits with the availability of equipment and technologies that enable precision in dosage, ease of adjustment and larger and more uniform application ranges.

One of these technologies is 12-Section Automatic Control. The tool expands the solutions available for Jacto's broadcast fertilizer portfolio, integrating the technological differences of the UNIPORT 5030 NPK self-propelled fertilizer machine and the Tellus 10.000 NPK tractor fertilizer machine.

The technology allows segmentation of the application range into up to 12 automatically controlled sections. This is a system that brings an important reduction in fertilizer costs to the fertilization operation.

“By individually closing and opening the different sections, the equipment minimizes overlaps at the entrances and exits of the border”, explains Paulo Guirao, product manager for Jacto's line of self-propelled sprayers and fertilization. “With this technology, the reduction in fertilizer consumption can reach 15%, representing savings for the farmer and greater environmental protection”, he reinforces.

New level for broadcast fertilization

The UNIPORT 5030 NPK self-propelled fertilizer machine and the Tellus 10.000 NPK tractor fertilizer machine are part of a new generation of fertilizer equipment with technological differences created by Jacto that enable benefits in this operation, including a higher quality application.

The UNIPORT 5030 NPK is a self-propelled fertilizer machine with a 5.000 kg capacity reservoir and an application range of up to 50 meters for granulated fertilizers and 12 meters for powdered products. It has a 243 hp engine, independent and intelligent 4X4 transmission, independent air suspension and 1,5 meter clearance. The diesel engine has automatic speed control and is integrated with the transmission, enabling a reduction in fuel consumption.

The Tellus 10.000 NPK is a traction fertilizer machine with a 10.000 kg capacity reservoir. It also distributes fertilizers over a wide application range, up to 50 meters, in addition to the application of powdered products. It has a hydraulically driven transmission, requires a tractor with a minimum power of 110 hp and works at speeds of 4 to 18 km/h.

“Both have the same reservoir and the same capacity for granulated fertilizers, which is 5.000 kg. For powder products, the Tellus 10.000 NPK allows the reservoir to be filled to its maximum volume, reaching a capacity of 10.000 kg”, explains Guirao.

The set of technologies present in the two fertilizer machines enables precision fertilization, with control of the dosage to be applied, which can be done through the PrecisionWay System, technology to control the dosage, the point of fall of the fertilizer on the discs and the shape of the blades. , distributing the inputs in the right dose, with quality and uniformity throughout the entire application range.

Other technologies present in both equipment are SmartSet and Edge Control. SmartSet is software designed to help adjust the application range of the UNIPORT 5030 NPK and Tellus 10.000 NPK automotive vehicles. Through a website, in four steps, it is possible to obtain the necessary regulation data for a variety of brands and types of fertilizers.

Border control is a system that allows you to reduce application errors in border operations, avoiding the application of fertilizers in unwanted areas, such as conveyors and reserve areas.
