The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro, from Jacto, is a sprayer designed exclusively to meet the demands of the sugar-energy market

The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro is Jacto's newest release for spraying. The equipment is a sprayer developed specifically for sugarcane cultivation, designed to achieve better performance and application quality, with less environmental impact and reduction in production costs.

Among the main differences of the equipment, which will be presented during Agrishow 2018, are versatility for working in tall crops, more resistant and robust components for working in this crop, which requires almost triple the working hours compared to other crops, and high precision in the application of pesticides.
The sprayer has a three thousand liter reservoir and 24 meter spray bars. It comes with the Jacto Precise Solutions system that integrates three sets of technological solutions present in the equipment: the Jacto Smart Vehicle (JSV), a set of solutions developed for the vehicle; the Jacto Quality Spray (JQS), the Uniport 3030 Canavieiro spraying system, and Precision Agriculture tools, represented by Otmis, a brand of Jacto technology solutions.
The technologies improve the precision of operations and manage the application quality and operational performance of the Uniport 3030 Canavieiro. In the end, costs are reduced with less environmental impact and an effective increase in profit.

MOTOR
The Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel engine with 243 hp, which equips the Uniport 3030, is electronically governed and adjusted to work at low speed, offering maximum torque and lower fuel consumption, providing all the necessary power with maximum economy, which can reach up to 35 % less diesel fuel consumption compared to competitors.

CABINS
The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro cabin has a large visual width for better visibility of the crop, making it easier for the operator to maneuver inside and outside the fields. For greater operator comfort during the workday, the air-suspension seat is adjustable, as is the steering column.
The equipment has two monitors, with touch-sensitive functions, which centralize all onboard operations and technologies. Operational agility and practicality are achieved with a multifunction joystick, which allows you to control the movement of the booms, turn spraying on or off, and activate the autopilot.

BARS
The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro has 24 meters of bars that allow high performance with great operational ease in sugarcane fields. The bars are robust for working on cane, with a more resistant frame and lifting arms for working on borders and trims.
A major difference of this model is the working height of the bar, which varies from 0,50m to 2,50m, allowing high availability of use in all phases of crop development, from initial applications with small plants, spraying with pendants and treatments phytosanitary protection on plants up to two meters tall. As it reaches a maximum height of 2,50m, this model provides excellent application quality in end-of-cycle treatments in sugarcane cultivation.

TRANSMISSION, TIRES AND SUSPENSION
With intelligent 4x4 hydrostatic transmission and independent automatic traction control, the model provides greater traction capacity on different types of soil, with a ramp capacity of 26%. The final transmission of torque to the wheels is carried out by planetary type reducers. The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro always has four wheels in traction and if one of them loses traction, the other three will continue traction, unlike traditional equipment with “X” traction, which loses traction on another diagonal wheel when one loses traction. .

This configuration allows travel at speeds of up to 40km/h with sugarcane tires, and up to 65km/h with radial tires, depending on road conditions, limited to spraying areas and internal roads on the property.
With independent pneumatic suspension and automatic height control valve, the system constantly seeks to maintain the leveling of the chassis in relation to the ground, providing greater stability for the bars and, consequently, greater quality of application.
The 18,4 x 38" tires (standard) and 380/90 R46 (optional) guarantee greater stability between the planting lines, greater fluctuation and less soil compaction.
The braking system integrated into the hydrostatic transmission prevents wheel locking, providing greater safety for the operator. The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro can be equipped with the Unitrack directional system, an innovative solution that allows faster maneuvers in narrow lanes.

CHASSIS AND GOING FREE
The modern design concept, using high-strength material and riveted joints without the use of welding, resulted in a low-weight chassis with high torsional flexibility. The total weight of the empty equipment is 9.250kg.
The exclusive adjustable clearance system offers greater versatility, expanding its availability for crop care throughout the application window. Through an adjustable system in two positions, the free space of the equipment can be increased, reaching a maximum height of 1,72m (with 18,4 x 38" tires) and 1,75m (with 380/90 R46 tires). With the largest free span, the Uniport 3030 Canavieiro is limited to a maximum working speed of 15km/h and a maximum travel speed of 20km/h.
The gauge is also hydraulically adjustable from 2,73m to 3,28m, which provides adaptability to transport on boards and to different crop spacings.

PULVERIZATION
The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro spraying system was designed with exclusive components, using all the expertise of those who have known spraying for decades. Most of the components are designed and assembled at Jacto, guaranteeing the quality and robustness necessary for hard work in the crop.
Flow control is done through pump rotation, without a flow meter and without a spray command. There is no need to change the circuit for low and high volume applications and the error in the application rate is only 1% to 2%, with the shortest response time (one second), a characteristic that gives the equipment high precision in the application of defensives.
Without a flow meter or spray command, dosage control is carried out directly on the JP 300 pump. This guarantees much faster responses and precision in dosage control to deliver greater quality in the application.
The main reservoir, with a capacity of three thousand liters, is equipped with a mechanical agitator with rotation control, which provides less foam formation and homogeneity of the spray from the beginning to the end of spraying.
It can be equipped with a centrifugal pump to supply the main reservoir with a capacity of up to 500L/min. With automatic calibration, the flow constant is calibrated without the need to measure the nozzles. This operation is more precise, as it considers the real density of the spray solution to be applied and not just water.
The segment valves, located close to the spray branch entrances on the booms, allow for less time between the opening and closing command and the response at the spray nozzles. This represents greater quality, minimizing pressure variations and consequently application failures.
The sprayer is equipped with five sets of nozzles that can be configured according to the producer's different needs, such as type of agrochemical, application volume, speed and climatic conditions.
It has a quadrijet nozzle holder that allows quick adjustment of application parameters through the different spray nozzles, minimizing downtime and increasing the sprayer's operational performance.
Another difference is that the sprayer is equipped as standard with a set of 26 pendants for controlling pests or herbs.

PRECISION AGRICULTURE
This model also has an Otmis technology package. The tools improve the precision of operations, manage the application quality and operational performance of the Uniport 3030 Canavieiro, enabling reduced costs with less environmental impact and an effective increase in profit.
Among the technologies on board is the Otmis LB 1200 set, a complete spray guidance and control system via GPS, consisting of a light bar, an eight-section automatic controller and a hydraulic autopilot.

The light bar indicates to the operator the ideal direction to follow in the crop, records application maps, measures areas and is connected to the automatic section controller and hydraulic autopilot. The autopilot automatically directs the Uniport, assists with spraying, minimizes failures, overlaps and allows the operator to be more attentive to the equipment's other functions.
The eight-section automatic controller is an automatic spray boom section opening and closing system. Minimizes failures and overlaps in application, provides savings on agrochemicals and lower environmental impact.
The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro can be equipped with a variable rate application system, which allows the application rate of inputs to vary based on prescription maps.
Otmis Maps Telemetria is a web-based spraying management system that allows you to view maps with diverse information, better manage operations and speed up the decision-making process.

MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY
The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro meets regulatory requirements, providing greater safety for the operator and the environment.
The location and access to inspection and maintenance items facilitate operational work and reduce equipment downtime. It has several system diagnostic tools and alarms that facilitate preventive maintenance.
