Rats attack soybean and corn crops

The perfect planting set is made up of Fendt's Vario series of tractors, together with the Momentum family of seeders, which are well-known on the market. Because of this, Fendt launched a “Suplantar” planting concept, which is made up of Fendt's two major launches on the market, the 700 Vario tractor and the Fendt Momentum seeder, with 18 to 24 rows, due to their adaptability capacity. to different topography and working conditions, providing operational efficiency, greater input savings and greater productivity.
As the years go by, the time needed to sow areas becomes shorter, combined with this, the increase in planted area in different regions of the country creates the need for more efficient machines to meet this demand. Thus, Fendt, always seeking to deliver the best solutions on the market to farmers, developed self-transportable seeders that revolutionized the market.
The Fendt Momentum has a transport system that leaves the machine, in 45 seconds, smaller than the tractor's double wheels or even in the working position, thus saving the farmer time when changing areas. Furthermore, with greater operational performance in mind, Fendt developed a system of “infinity” bushings, which eliminate the need for daily lubrication of the seeder, thus saving time for planting.
The Fendt Momentum with 18 to 24 lines has central reservoirs, which facilitate the refueling operation, when compared to boxes suspended over the lines. These reservoirs have a capacity of 3.500 L for fertilizer and 3.500 L for seeds, which means the machine can work longer hours with fewer stops to replenish inputs.
Agriculture is increasingly seeking to become more efficient, that is, to produce more with the same amount of resources. To this end, technology is a fundamental ally in this search. For this reason, we have seen an increase in the technology used in seeds, for example. Faced with this need, Fendt Momentum was developed to minimize the waste of the main inputs used in sowing, seeds and fertilizer.
Currently, all seeders in the Fendt Momentum family have “vDrive”, which performs row-by-row control, transforming “each row into an individual seeder”. In practice, the machine can compensate for curves in seed dosing, in addition to cutting line by line in places where planting has already taken place, avoiding seed overlap and, consequently, competition between plants, which, in addition to Save resources, improve productivity.
The technology is part of Fendt Momentum's DNA, which is why, in versions with 18 to 24 lines, the machine has the “vApply Granular” system, which controls the fertilizer directly via the “20|20 seed sense” monitor. . Furthermore, this system divides the seeders into two sections, also reducing the overlap of fertilizer in places where it has already been applied. This makes the operation more efficient and rational.
The search for more productivity grows year after year, leading to more and more technology being applied that allows the plant to deliver its maximum productive potential. For this, planting is the fundamental operation, since the correct deposition of seeds at the correct distance and spacing, as well as depth, guarantees that the crop has a uniform emergence and, consequently, greater productivity.
The Fendt Momentum with 18 to 24 rows is a seeder developed and designed to deliver better plant emergence. Proof of this are the Smart Frame, Wing Flex and Weight Transfer systems, which work to ensure that the machine's combs remain in contact with the ground both in relation to the angle of the lateral modules and in relation to the pressure of the combs in relation to the ground. and the weight transferred to the lateral modules, enabling planting on uneven terrain, with always uniform seed deposition.
Fendt Momentum brings an innovative concept for adjusting line pressure to the ground, Delta Force, which acts with both positive and negative pressures, focusing on improving the construction of the planting furrow, consequently, an environment for root development and greater productivity. Delta Force ends up replacing the pressure spring, bringing more precision to the control of pressure on the line, as it has a sensor that measures soil resistance and applies the correct load, making five adjustments per second.
Inspired by the needs and ideas of our customers and by our desire to produce the best innovations and technologies, we developed a perfect tractor for producers who aim to increase their productivity by using the best equipment on the market. Customers around the world trust these tractors, which in 2024 debut in Brazil to revolutionize the market with the Fendt 726 Vario (262 hp) and 728 Vario (283 hp) models, becoming the ideal solution for the planting cycle when combined with the new Fendt Momentum from 18 to 24 lines.
Since its launch in 1998, the Fendt 700 Vario has won numerous awards and has been Fendt's best-selling tractor series ever since, as well as being the market leader in Europe. The seventh generation of the renowned tractor series, the 700 Vario Gen7, consolidates its leadership position by receiving the Farm Machine 2023 award during the Sima international fair, in Paris.
High operating costs and shortened operating windows, whether in soil preparation, planting or transporting grain in a grain trailer, currently require the tractor to be versatile and highly efficient in its fuel consumption.
To achieve this, the new Fendt 700 Vario has an AGCO Power Core 75 engine, with a volume of 7,5 liters, which delivers an exceptional 1.450 Nm of torque. Combined with the new engine, the FendtID concept enables high torque at low speeds, with maximum torque being reached at 1.200 rpm. Furthermore, the Fendt 728 model has the Fendt Dynamic Performance concept, which provides an additional 20 horsepower for auxiliary consumers, reaching 303 hp. For ease and lower maintenance costs, the Core engine has a hydraulic tappet, eliminating the need for manual valve adjustment.
The 700 Vario Gen7 series was designed and developed for tropical agricultural applications, which is why it features the exclusive Concentric Air System (CAS) cooling concept, already proven in higher power tractors. This system has a hydraulically driven propeller, which operates independently of engine rotation and has a reversible function, cleaning the front grille and cooling package, allowing greater machine availability.
Combined with the efficient engine, the 700 Vario Gen7 is equipped with the renowned and proven VarioDrive ML 190 continuously variable transmission, developed with the aim of transmitting high engine power in any situation, regardless of ground conditions and keeping engine speeds very low. .
The VarioDrive transmission is responsible for continuous and dynamic driving, delivering high power at any speed, from 0,02 km/h to 50 km/h. This is possible thanks to a hydraulic pump, which drives the hydraulic motors of the front and rear axles independently through hydrostatic energy. Furthermore, the intelligent torque distribution concept distributes the torque dynamically, and in the event of slipping of one of the axles, it transfers the torque to the other, making the most of it, achieving greater traction capacity and operational performance. In the field, the full traction force is available and stresses are avoided when driving on roads or curves. The so-called “pull-in-turn” effect pulls the machine into the curve during turns, resulting in an approximate turning radius of 11,8 m, with full traction power and less soil compaction.
For long working hours and greater operational efficiency, the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 is equipped with three levels of comfort: active suspension, maintenance-free and with stability control on the front axle; air suspension with two shock absorbers in the cab and air suspension on the operator's seat.
In the new generation of the Fendt 700 Vario, the tractor and implements are operated in a simple and customizable way using the multifunctional joystick, 10” digital panel and two 12” terminals, one on the armrest and the other on the roof. In an integrated and centralized way, the FendtONE operator platform is perfect for operating the new Momentum, as it performs planter control functions via the Isobus network, such as raising and lowering the planting lines with a single touch of the joystick.
Intelligent functions, such as the Fendt Guide guidance system and the TI Headland system that automates the threshold maneuver and the controlled traffic control (CTF) functionality, are great allies for the operator, as they guarantee precision, greater operational performance and even less fatigue . For rational use of inputs, the tractor also has a session control system (SC) and variable rate (VRC).
Fendt Connect is Fendt's telemetry solution, free for five years and compatible with several telephone operators. The tractor transmits a huge range of information, which can be accessed in real time via the web platform, as well as the Fendt Connect app. Information digitized in real time in the palm of your hand.
