The most precise planting

To ensure complete coverage and precise planting, Estrela has a triple coping system, which consists of the articulation of three fundamental points of the machine, located on the chassis and in the rows. This innovative concept presented by Stara consists of the articulation of the chassis by pneumatic springs, combined row and hydraulic pressure control in the seed rows. Below, we explain how triple coping works.

Chassis articulation by pneumatic springs

The Estrela chassis has three modules, one central and two lateral, with pneumatic springs that transfer the load from the central module to the lateral ones, maintaining the same cutting power throughout the entire length of the planter and uniformity in planting from end to end. In addition, the chassis articulation reaches up to 24°, 12° upwards and 12° downwards.

Combined line

In addition to the chassis articulation, Estrela features an exclusive Stara innovation, the combined line, which allows the individual articulation of the line with the module articulation, ensuring the best ground copy. The total articulation of the combined line can reach up to 1,31 meters.

Hydraulic pressure control in seed lines

Performed directly on the Topper, the combined line pressure regulation and hydraulic line pressure control ensures constant pressure in all seed lines, reducing vibrations, maintaining stability and depositing seeds in the soil evenly.

Given the demand for precise planters, easy to transport and high operational performance, Estrela has, in addition to the best tanks, robustness and the most practical transportation on the market.

Excellent planting starts with the quality and efficiency of the seed and fertilizer tanks. That's why Estrela offers central, pressurized tanks that ensure complete sealing and precision in the distribution of fertilizers and feeding of the seed popcorn makers. It also has minimum level sensors for fertilizers and seeds. It has the most efficient hydraulic system, requiring less oil flow from the tractor. 

And despite being a complete machine with a great technological package, Estrela is easy to maintain. Estrela has few lubrication points, only the header and wheel set, and it is recommended to lubricate these points only once before planting, avoiding stopping the operation and ensuring excellent operational performance.

And when it comes to transportation, Estrela is the simplest and fastest on the market. In less than a minute, the machine is ready for transport or work. It has a transport width of 3,20 m on smaller chassis and 4,15 m on larger chassis.

The most efficient distribution

The most complete machine on the market could only have the best seed distribution. Stara presents the DPS-E, Stara's electric seed dispenser, in the new Estrela. All the innovation and technology of the DPS-E ensures better seed singularity, combining ease of cleaning and maintenance, with easy access to its interior for changing discs and ejectors, an organizer with seven double seed elimination points, as well as a display and activation for testing.

Another major difference of the DPS-E is the compensation of the seed rate in curves, which ensures the same population and spacing in the internal and external rows, resulting in high distribution quality, regardless of the curve angle.

And just like seeds, fertilizers also need excellent distribution, which is why Estrela has a pressurized pneumatic dosing system that maintains uniform fertilizer distribution throughout the machine. In addition, this planter has two fertilizer sections, which can be turned off for finishing, avoiding overlap and saving inputs.

Factory direct in-furrow spraying

The application of inoculant in the furrow ensures better initial development of the plants and increased productivity, generating positive results. Considering this need of the producer, Stara used all its experience and expertise in spraying to develop a complete and efficient system, which guarantees the best application in the furrow. 

Estrela has a spraying system in the furrow straight from the factory, without adaptations, and a three-layer tank, with the central thermal layer insulated by two other polyethylene layers, guaranteeing the thermal efficiency of the tank throughout the useful life of the machine, providing excellent protection against heat and light, ensuring the biological activity of the products and facilitating cleaning.

The planter also has an Agitation System, which keeps the spray solution constantly circulating in the tank and automatically adjusts the rate according to the speed, ensuring quality and uniformity in spraying. Another major difference is the automatic shutdown per section, with a total of three sections, one per module, avoiding overlapping of input.
