A cutting-edge product with disruptive technology, Ultrazeb Inox is a strong ally in the nutrition and resistance of crops.

The use of Ultrazeb Inox associated with conventional fungicides reduced the severity of Asian soybean rust by 41,5% and increased productivity by 4,5 bags per hectare, in relation to standard treatment. The technological race for greater productivity associated with sustainable development has intensified in recent years, especially in the development of high quality and performance. Ultrazeb Inox is a cutting-edge product with disruptive technology that meets the needs of the countryside, as it goes beyond simple plant nutrition.

Due to the productivity losses caused diseases, combined with the low effectiveness of the main chemical groups of fungicides currently used, interest in alternative management methods. Given this scenario, Spraytec developed the Ultrazeb Inox, which, in low doses, provides nutrients with high solubility, absorption and translocation, in addition to presenting excellent synergy and physical-chemical compatibility with agricultural pesticides.

It is a very stable, high-quality formulation technology and biodegradable that acts on the physiological processes of plants, with positive impacts on crop resistance and productivity. One Differential characteristic of the product is related to increased resistance nature of plants to biotic factors. In response to Ultrazeb application Stainless steel, defense mechanisms are activated, inducing the plant to synthesize high concentrations of secondary metabolites, which act as true physical and chemical barriers, hindering the entry and development of pathogens, such as the fungus that causes Asian rust.

Another aspect of great agronomic relevance for the use of Ultrazeb Inox is its acting as a chemical mediator in natural defense mechanisms, related to resistance induction. From the moment these were activated, mechanisms, other components of the product come into play, forming part of the composition of enzymes and proteins that will act in defense against the agent causing the disease. The components present in Ultrazeb Inox act by increasing the speed of defense reaction and at the same time make the process more efficient and with less energy expenditure, being an important activator of natural defense mechanisms of plants. The use of high-quality cultivars genetic potential associated with sustainable development requires products innovative products such as Ultrazeb Inox.

Goal

Evaluate the response of the soybean crop to the Ultrazeb Inox nutritional complex in association with conventional fungicides in the management of Asian rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi).

Material and methods

The experiment was implemented in a commercial area, at Fazenda Paranaguá, in the municipality of Astorga, Paraná, in the 2020-2021 harvest, with the cultivar Brevant 5D6215IPRO. O experimental design used was randomized blocks, with four repetitions. Treatments consisted of Control (no application), Standard Producer (three fungicide applications) and Producer + Spraytec Standard (three fungicide applications associated with Ultrazeb Inox 0,30L/ha). The applications were performed when the culture was at stages V6, R2 and R4, respectively. The volume of spray used was 150L/ha. Were realized assessments of product efficacy on disease severity and yield of culture. The data were subjected to analysis of variance and the test of Tukey (p < 0,05), using the SASM Agri software (Canteri et al. 2001).

Results

The association of Ultrazeb Inox to fungicides was effective in reducing the severity of Asian rust. The severity in the control was 62,9%, for the treatment standard was 15,4% and for the standard associated with Ultrazeb Inox it was 9%, this is a reduction of 41,5% (Figure 1). The increase in the control effectiveness of Asian rust is extremely important so that there is no loss of potential productive of culture. In this context, in relation to productivity, the harvest in the control it was 42,9 sc/ha, in the standard 67,8 sc/ha and in the most Ultrazeb Stainless Steel of 72,3 bags per hectare. The association of Ultrazeb Inox with fungicides promoted an average increase in productivity of 4,5 bags per hectare in relation to the standard treatment (Figure 2). The association of fungicides conventional products with Ultrazeb Inox proved to be an effective tool for ensure better management of Asian rust and, consequently, promote greater soybean crop productivity.

Conclusion

The Ultrazeb Stainless steel, in addition to nourishing plants with the aim of maximum expression of their productive potential, is a promising alternative in the management of Asian soybean rust by inducing the natural defense mechanisms of plants, presenting high synergism with conventional fungicides.
