On September 15th, the soybean void in Mato Grosso ended, allowing producers to begin planting. According to the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea), in the first week of cultivation, 80 thousand hectares had already been sown. The volume is equivalent to 0,83% of the total area planned for this harvest. This scenario is more encouraging than last year, which in the same period had only 0,14% of the area sown.

However, many producers chose to wait for the first rains, because the lack of water directly influences how the seedling will develop. There is no point in having the best grains if the plantation is not properly irrigated, causing water stress, loss of yield and, consequently, great harm to the farmer.

Climatic conditions undoubtedly have a direct influence on planting results. Therefore, some technologies can be fundamental in this context. A study carried out by CBAP – Executive Secretariat of the Brazilian Precision Agriculture Commission – showed that 67% of farmers in Brazil use technology, whether in business management or in cultivation and harvesting activities, achieving good results.

Therefore, many companies have sought to develop innovative products for the segment, thinking about meeting this high demand. There are already products that give the seed faster and more vigorous development, ensuring greater tolerance and greater productivity.

In general terms, we can say that the time is now to pay attention to new possibilities that contribute to harvests yielding better grains. Nowadays the market offers many innovations and the ideal is to choose the one that best meets your needs to achieve efficient cultivation.
