Fendt IDEAL arrives in Brazil, a harvester full of technological resources and whose design was based on the needs of producers around the world

Fendt IDEAL comes with a different bias for Brazil, with specific technologies and machine functions developed for specific application in Brazilian lands. The proposal is that the operator is not just focused on operational issues and all the necessary adjustments for an effective harvest. With this project, Fendt wants the operator to play a managerial role, which it understands to be a representation of the future of agriculture.
According to Fendt, this is the first harvester design made from scratch in more than 30 years - a machine not based on what came before, but on what growers have been told what they need. This design has been tested in the most rigorous trials ever for agricultural machinery over the last seven years.

TECHNOLOGY
To develop Fendt IDEAL, the company sought information from producers and harvester operators around the world who, collectively, grow every crop harvested by a machine in virtually all conditions. During the design of the Fendt IDEAL, the company tested the harvester in all hypotheses and scenarios, such as extremely wet and dry fields, low and high yields, hills, uneven land and critical situations. Producers not only insisted on maximum availability, but also on machines that provide the comfort and ergonomics that allow them to safely work long hours to meet demands, especially in Brazil, where there are increasingly shorter harvest windows. This project was aimed at a combination that not only offers the means to face challenges and opportunities of today – be they climate and conditions, new crops or new technologies – but also of the years to come. The result is not just an upgrade to existing machinery and technology. It is a machine in which you have total control over your harvest, as well as your operation as a whole.
Fendt IDEAL brings to the market a completely new technology, the exclusive feature of IDEAL Harvest: an automation system that self-adjusts through sensors and cameras distributed inside the harvester. With this technology, the machine has levels of automation and parameters to manage the harvest and provide data in real time, which allows fine adjustments, in an intuitive and easy way. This feature provides control inside and outside the cabin. IDEAL Harvest connected to the iPad allows visualization and control of the harvester, achieving the best performance between grain quality, cleanliness and losses. With a simple touch of the screen, the operator prioritizes what type of harvest he wants to carry out.

TRAKRIDE
Concerned about the harvest condition in Brazil, Fendt IDEAL also brings two new traction systems. One of them, TrakRide helps reduce compaction and harvest in folded terrain. The use of conveyors was considered during the development of the project, being created together with the harvester and not simply being adapted to its use. They deliver two great solutions: less compaction and greater traction capacity. The big advantage is that the contact area with the ground is up to 2,9m². If we compare, this is equivalent to the contact area of eight tires. This technology provides up to 70% less compaction, a great benefit for those who do direct planting.

PARALEVEL
On the other hand, ParaLevel technology is a system that acts on the front axle of the harvester, keeping the machine aligned by up to 14% to the slopes of the terrain. The platform's automatic control works synchronously with ParaLevel. Total leveling of the machine brings a great advantage: working level, the harvester's performance will be much greater. It is a technology that can increase the harvester's performance by more than 50% in this type of topography.

MORE INNOVATIONS
Among other innovations, Fendt IDEAL has a unique system for uniform straw distribution. It can evenly and perfectly cover all Fendt platform models. The model exclusively features Helix Rotors axial rotors, the longest on the market, 4,84m, which have a design designed to obtain a smooth trail with maximum quality grains, whole straws and efficiency in power consumption. The grain handling and storage system has a capacity of up to 220 bags and unloads grain in 82 seconds. This set provides more than 20% in efficiency gains for the performance of the IDEAL harvester.
Fendt IDEAL harvesters bring harvest innovation, with technology and high performance, always preserving the agronomic benefits so that the producer can increase these values with each harvest cycle.
