With agribusiness becoming increasingly technological, it is essential to develop equipment capable of offering productivity and precision at all stages of work in the field. The projections for the grain harvest for 2019/2020 are among the most encouraging, which puts Brazil in a prominent position as the country responsible for guaranteeing the food supply for around 1,2 billion people around the world, in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic crisis. Even in the face of an unstable economic scenario, Brazilian agribusiness showed an increase of 0,6% in GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in the 1st quarter of this year, driven by the soybean harvest, according to figures released in May by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics).

In this context, Massey Ferguson, the largest exporter of agricultural machinery in Latin America and a reference in the Brazilian market for almost 60 years, launched the Draper DynaFlex 9300 Platform, available in dimensions ranging from 25 to 45 feet. The product is an evolution of the Draper DynaFlex 9250 and 9255 Platforms and provides greater simplicity in maintenance, flexibility in work and a bold design with new shielding.

The Draper series of platforms features superior product cutting capacity and flexibility to copy the soil, with a reduction in losses in the cutting process of up to 10%. In the collection process, the loss reduction is even greater, with a rate of 30% to 40%. The implement was specially created to be attached to all Massey Ferguson axial harvesters and a hybrid harvester model.

With these possibilities at hand, the rural producer has financial gains with less fuel consumption and losses in the cutting process. It is estimated, for example, that soybean or wheat producers can save R$5 to R$15 in one year of operation compared to using conventional platforms.

With this, Massey Ferguson expands its portfolio, serving all regions of Brazil and different types of properties and topography. In addition to guaranteeing productivity and practicality, the platform also ensures the quality of the harvest, as it allows personalized adjustment based on each soil and crop characteristic, which means that the grains are treated with delicacy.

To take full advantage, however, it is important that the equipment is adjusted according to each type of grain, with speed adjustments that can be made both on the harvester and on the platform. A simple configuration directly influences the grain and harvest time, that is, productivity. These are elements that need to be on the horizon of every producer who wants to take advantage of the peak harvest period.
